Price list & Conditions

What is included in the rent?

All rental prices quoted include VAT, gas, equipment, water charts, the Electricity Atlas and the Water Almanac, parts 1 and 2. At the start of the hire period, your yacht will be clean and ready to sail. On return, the boat must be handed back swept clean, with the fuel tank completely empty and the waste water tank emptied.

Mandatory additional costs

Final cleaning: €75 to €120, depending on the type of yacht.
Booking fee: €25 per booking.

Deposit

The deposit must be paid before departure. This can be done in advance or on departure, by debit card or in cash. If paying by credit card, we will charge a transaction fee of €30.

Automatic life jackets

Automatic life jackets can be booked as an optional extra for €5 each per weekend or midweek and €7 each per week.

Rental periods

Week: Monday 14.30 to Monday 09.30 or Friday 14.30 to Friday 09.30
Weekend: Friday 2.30 pm to Monday 9.30 am
Midweek: Monday 2.30 pm to Friday 9.30 am
Extra day: where possible, 17.5% of the applicable weekly rate per extra day.

Public holidays 2027

Easter: Thursday 25 March to Tuesday 30 March
Ascension Day: Wednesday 5 May to Monday 10 May
Whitsun: Friday 14 May to Tuesday 18 May
Corpus Christi: Wednesday 26 May to Monday 31 May

Sailing area

Our yachts may be used on the Frisian Lakes, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. Sailing on the North Sea and/or the German Wadden Sea is permitted only if you can demonstrate sailing experience and subject to prior authorisation from Tornado Yachting. For the North Sea, a maximum distance of 10 nautical miles from the coast applies.
