Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 - Modern sailing experience in 38 feet

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380 is the result of a successful collaboration between top designer Marc Lombard (torso) and Jean-Marc Piaton (interior), and represents Jeanneau's latest generation of performance cruisers. This model combines comfort, safety and sporting performance into a yacht suitable for both long sailing trips and relaxing weekends on the water.

The hull with reverse bow and hard chines ensures excellent stability and sailing characteristics. The boat is designed with a unique "walk-around" deck, offering a safe and free passage from cockpit to foredeck - a special feature in this class.

The Jeanneau 380 sails smoothly and steady on course, even in higher wind strengths. Thanks to the twin helmet, balanced rudder and light steering, sailing is excellent even solo.

Interior & Comfort

The Sun Odyssey 380 is available with:

• 2 or 3 cabins
• 1 or 2 wet cells
• L-shaped galley with oven, fridge, sink and storage space
• Rectangular bed in the forward cabin

Optionally available: U-seat with chaise longue in the lounge

The interior is bright, modern and functional, with plenty of natural light thanks to large portholes and skylights. Clever storage solutions and high-quality finishes make staying on board pleasant, even for longer periods.

Motorisation

• Standard: Yanmar 29 hp diesel engine with propeller shaft
• Optional: Yanmar 40 hp (model 3JH40)
• Propeller: fixed 3-blade, optionally collapsible
• Bow thruster (optional): for easy manoeuvring

The Yanmar diesel engine is reliable and quiet, with enough power for port manoeuvres and longer journeys under engine. The optional bow thruster offers extra control, especially in crosswinds or restricted space.
